One on One Private Yoga Classes
If you would like to try yoga, but don’t have
2 + hours to devote to getting to a class, then private classes may be the best thing for you. I can come to your place of work or your home and teach you customized, easy-to-remember routines that you can incorporate into your daily life. They can also be affordable!
Small Group Classes
A great way to bring private classes into your yoga practice is to bring 2-5 people with you! I believe that we learn best in small classes, where I can give students personalized attention and refine practice in a low student-to-teacher ratio. I can personalize classes to reach goals, talk about topics that interest you or do my own evaluation to elevate your practice to the next level.
Mindfulness Practices for a Joyful Life
Yogic mindfulness techniques evolved from millennia of practice, as we learn what works to create a joyful human experience. Yogis have always been people just like you, figuring out how to live happier, healthier and more fulfilling lives. Come and improve your everyday life by gathering this toolbox of now scientifically proven awareness techniques:
- decrease physical, mental and emotional pain
- improve physical, mental and emotional well-being
- gain mastery of your stress response
We will be practicing asana (postures), pranayama (breath techniques) and meditation (cognitive awareness techniques). All levels are welcome.

Coming Soon: Yoga for Trauma: Building Your Compassionate Warrior Heart
This 8 week course will focus on teaching you yogic techniques and modern psychology methods to heal from trauma. Taught by Anna Ferguson and Shannon O’Neill, LCSW, we will take you on a journey back to your heart, giving you the tools to not only heal your traumatic experiences, but also thrive in your life. The course will include:
Physical Postures (Asana), Breath Practice (Pranayama), and Meditation techniques focused on the Chakras (energy centers of the body) and nueromuscular repatterning (a proven technique to help form new healthy mental and physical habits).
Lessons on psychological patterning of trauma and how to become aware of and release that patterning
Group processing of experiences to build support and community, Led by Shannon O’Neill, LCSW
CD of 8 Meditations from Vibrant Heart Yoga for Building a Compassionate Warrior Heart
This course is appropriate for all who are seeking to heal the trauma of past experiences and live freely in the present moment. An application will be provided soon for entrance into the course. Yin Yoga will give you the key to understanding how to manage your mind, body and spirit to develop a regular meditation practice, as well as balance our active, on-the-go lives and yoga practices. You whole being needs the deep, slow and complete rest that Yin Yoga can provide. Appropriate for all levels, even if you have never done yoga before! You will leave refreshed, invigorated and full of a profound peace that will positively affect your whole life.
Yin yoga is different from other yoga styles because of the following guidelines:
1. We focus on the non-muscular tissues – the bones, ligaments, and fascia of the body – the connective tissues that are throughout the body. Even blood is a connective tissue!
2. We hold poses from 3-5 minutes, sometimes longer. Don’t worry though, the poses are designed to be supportive and restful, while still challenging your mind and body.
3. The practice is very meditative, with guided techniques to focus the mind and observe the breath.
